Tube (Solvent Capture Cavity)
The aluminum tube is the main section used to collect solvents that flow through the barrel during cleaning. It’s designed with the right dimensions to allow secure attachment while giving you enough space to contain solvent and debris.
End Cap
The end cap is threaded to securely close the tube and hold in the solvent once it has been collected. This prevents spills and allows for proper disposal later. Due to the way the part is machined, some edges may feel sharp. Gloves are recommended when installing or removing the end cap.
Thread Protectors (½×28″ and ⅝×24″)
Two standard-size thread protectors are included:

These allow the solvent trap tube to be securely attached to your firearm’s threaded barrel. During cleaning, the thread protector holds the tube in place, guiding solvent from the barrel into the tube without mess.
