The AD ArmorCore™ Level III Body Armor is a Lightweight Curved Hard Plate (10×12″) designed for those who require efficient, lightweight ballistic protection. Level III plates are designed to protect against 7.62x51mm NATO FMJ (full metal jacket) rounds, as well as 5.56x45mm NATO rounds, but DO NOT provide protection against armor-piercing ammunition like the M61 or M993.

Experience uncompromised protection with the AD ArmorCore™ Curved Hard Plate, weighing just ~4 lbs. Engineered for durability and quality, these plates deliver robust defense without the heavy burden, offering comfort and mobility compared to most Level III plates.

This plate is made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE), renowned for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, offering robust defense against handgun rounds with minimal bulk. Level III body armor is the lowest level that protects against rifle rounds, whereas Level IV is the highest level that protects against rifle rounds.
