Adaptive Solvent Trap – Products Overview

Our Adaptive Solvent Trap cleaning kits have dual use cleaning and storage capability.  This article will provide more information on each of the Adaptive Solvent Traps to help our customers have a better understanding of each product.

Currently, there are six adaptive solvent trap kits available on our catalog and there are new models currently going through our prototype, quality and design process for additional storage capability such as multiple storage compartment for dry storage or storage during transport.

Our Adaptive Solvent Trap kits have five have industry standard thread pitches for cross-industry compatibility for streamlined cleaning. All five of these cleaning and storage kits have an outer diameter (OD) of 1.57” and an Inner diameter (ID) of around 1.18”. Of these five solvent trap kits, the build material options are 7075 Billet Aircraft Aluminum, 304 Stainless Steel and Grade 5 Titanium.

This is one of our most recently launched kits and like our Billet AST Cleaning Kit mentioned above, it is constructed of Billet 7075 Aircraft Grade Aluminum. It’s about 30% lighter than our Billet AST Model.

Adaptive Dry Storage Cups are not included with Solvent Trap Kits as they are accessories for solvent traps for dry storage preferences.

At it’s inception, this kit has been one of our most popular kits. The Billet AST Model is strong and lightweight, constructed from Billet 7075 Aircraft-Grade aluminum and finished in a nice Type III Hard Coat Anodization. This kit has a standard 1.375-24 TPI Thread Pitch

Due to the price point of Grade 5 Titanium, we wanted to offer a product with anticorrosive features, but at a price point a little less than Grade 5 Titanium. The stainless steel adaptive solvent trap kit is identical in design as our billet and titanium models, but heavier than both titanium and aluminum. Includes 1.375-24 TPI Thread Pitch

This is definitely one of our most popular and exclusive Adaptive Solvent Trap Kits. Everything comes second when compared to the anticorrosion features, strength vs. weight ratio (for those interested in misfire risk reduction during transport/travels), and aesthetic appeal of this 100% Grade 5 Titanium constructed kit. Just like the billet and 304 Stainless steel AST Cleaning Kits mentioned above, this kit is identical in design and only differs in built material. The Grade 5 Titanium AST Cleaning Kit also sports a 1.375-24 TPI Thread Pitch for more compatibility to facilitate streamlined cleaning.
