Thread Protectors

All solvent trap or storage tubes include either a ½x28” or 5/8×24” thread protector. The 1/2×28 thread pattern is used for cleaning a 9mm, .22lr, and .223/5.56 NATO firearms. The 5/8×24” thread pattern is very popular as well, which is the thread pattern used to clean larger caliber firearms such as the .308, 7.62×39, .30 Cal, 6.5 Creedmoor, 300 Blackout and more.
