Our GR5 Titanium Adaptive Solvent Trap Kit (AST) is identical in engineering and design as our 7075 Billet Anodized Aluminum Adaptive Solvent Trap, but the main difference that set’s this Adaptive Solvent Trap apart from the Billet 7075 Anodized Aluminum Adaptive Solvent Trap, is that it is constructed of Grade-5 Titanium. It sports the same modular design and includes either a 1/2 x 28” or 5/8 x 24” Threaded Adapter, Sealed End Cap, a 3” Tube Extension and 8 Modular 60 Degree Storage Cups.
This Titanium AST Kit is offered with and also without the Type III Anodized 7075 Aluminum 1.1875 -24 TPI Adapter that attaches to the industry standard 1.375-24 TPI tube thread, which is the same setup included in our Billet 7075 Adaptive solvent Trap. This setup is for those that want to adapt to various industry muzzle adapters, for purposes such as a quick detach setup to simplify the the connection and disconnection of the solvent trap for quick cleaning! The Cup threads are also 1.375-24 TPI, to keep things simple and streamlined!
Just like with our Billet 7075 Adaptive Solvent Trap Kit, this kit’s modular adaptive storage cups and the tube body are one unit. The user can decide how many modular storage cups are used during cleaning and trapping solvent — this will depend on the firearm caliber, and how much solvent the user requires during cleaning.
Sure, the 7075 Billet Hard-coat Anodized Aluminum Adaptive Solvent Trap is strong, but Grade 5 titanium is stronger and at only a marginal increase in weight – but built to last. Like it’s Billet 7075 Adaptive Solvent Trap counterpart, the Titanium Adaptive Solvent Trap Kit is 8.25” in its longest configuration, with a 1.57” Outer Diameter and 1.18” Inner Diameter. This product is extremely popular, and it takes much longer to machine real Titanium Adaptive Solvent Trap Kits, opposed to knock-off’s.
